Website

Andrea fell in love with millinery while studying in London during a college study abroad program in 2006. While in London, Andrea held an internship at a couture bridal salon in Marylebone - next door to Philip Somerville, where she was lucky enough to meet and chat about millinery while falling love with his collection of hat blocks used to make hats for the Royal Family. In the months following the internsip, Andrea took her first millinery course at Regents College in London. Andrea continued to make hats and take several millinery classes after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Textile and Apparel Design in 2007.

Andrea enjoys using her large collection of antique hat blocks to create hats that are classic, everyday wearable pieces using both new and antique materials, while embracing traditional techniques. Currently, Andrea is a retail manager for Husqvarna Viking sewing and embroidery machines, teaches millinery classes for the Michigan Folk School, and is co-owner of Millinery Meet-Up with good friend and fellow Milliners Guild member, Patrycja Grzesznik.
