With over 20 years of experience working in New York City’s fashion industry, Lisa McFadden launched LISAMCFADDEN MILLINERY in 2014.  She studied millinery while earning her BFA in Fashion Design from American Intercontinental University in Atlanta, Georgia, graduated with top craftsmanship honors and was critiqued by French couturier Pierre Cardin who said she was a designer who 'knows her job'.  Her handmade headpieces entitled ‘Golden Child’ and ‘Bird of Paradise’ were part of the Milliners Guild exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Ms. McFadden’s media coverage includes VogueRunway.com, GoldenGlobes.com, CFDA.com, The Hat Magazine, National Geographic Your Shot, CBSnews, Women’s Wear Daily, Cake Boss, Hatalk, VoyageStl, Blackhistory.com, Sirius XM, Blackher.us, Fleek Digital Magazine, Rolling Out, Today's Black Woman and the cover of Fault Magazine.  Lisa has been featured in the illustrated series, Winona, Inc., is a frequent contributor to Hatalk Magazine, and has also been featured on the cover.  She has collaborated with designers Stephen Burrows, Byron Lars and Sheila Gray, as well as textile designers Savel, Inc., Tania Vartan and Scott Bodenner. 

Lisa looks forward to expanding the brand with passion projects like her fashion short short film, Journey Cuba and bespoke, handmade capsule collections.
