1. Membership Dues
Annual membership dues are $100. You will receive a PayPal invoice via email. (You have already paid. Thank you!)
2. Information & Guild Documents
Informational Documents from the Milliners Guild
The Milliners Guild, Inc. is incorporated as a 501(c)6 non-profit organization (business league). A booklet describing our by-laws and conflict-of-interest statement for your signature will be sent to you via email.
Details about the Conflict of Interest Policy can be found on pages 16-17 of our By Laws.
Please send the signed copy of the Certificate of Compliance to Laura Del Villaggio at firstname.lastname@example.org
3. Milliners Guild
To be included on the website, please provide us with the following information:
Your business name
A short Bio (200 words or less)
Images of your hats-- up to 8 images at least 700 pixels x 700 pixels (pictures must be in a square format)
One image that you would like to use on our home page, same parameters as above.
4. Contributing to the Milliners Guild
We encourage members to attend monthly meetings and to serve on a standing committee described in the information you will receive.
Please note: The new Board of Directors is currently revising our membership benefits and participation requirements. An updated file will be sent as soon as it's available.
Watch for an invitation to the meeting via Google Calendar. If you are in the New York City area, the monthly meeting is held at The Center, 208 West 13th Street, NYC 10011 from 7-9 PM EST on alternating third Wednesdays and third Thursdays. The next meeting will be Wednesday, July 17th.
If you are not able to attend in person, the meetings are broadcast online with Google Meet or you may phone in. Link and phone information will be in each month's calendar invitation.
You will receive a Google Form to sign up for one of our 6 committees. Volunteering is a great way to get to know fellow members and form bonds that are the foundation of the Guild.
Finally, you will be added to the Millinista- Milliners Guild Inc Chat Group on Facebook. This is our private group page and it is active. We hope you will join in on the conversations.
