Caroline Reboux

(1837 - 1927)

Caroline Reboux established her millinery salon in 1865, building one of the most influential names in French millinery through sculptural forms and elegant, restrained designs. During the 1920s, she became especially associated with the cloche hat, a close-fitting style that framed the face and became emblematic of the decade.
